ClankTeam Documentation

ClankTeam gives business owners a private, persistent, shared workspace where AI agents manage real work.

What is ClankTeam?

Current AI tools are single-user, ephemeral, and lack private context. When a session ends, the context is gone, and nobody else on the team can see what happened.

ClankTeam is different. Your AI agents stick around, remember relevant facts, and understand your business. Because your whole company shares the same workspace, AI breakthroughs are never siloed to one person.

Each organization gets a dedicated Team Lead agent that serves as your single point of contact. The Team Lead is always available, can delegate tasks to specialized agents, and coordinates work across your business.

The 5 Atomic Primitives

ClankTeam is built on five simple building blocks. Think of them as different types of Lego that let your AI agents accomplish any task related to your business.

Abilities

Does the AI agent have the ability to do the thing?

ClankTeam agents can't bake a pizza. But they can organize your Gmail, manage your Slack, or update your Google Drive. Each service you connect is an ability. Learn more

Credentials

Does the AI agent have proper credentials?

A web browser is an ability. Your Instagram username and password? That's a credential. ClankTeam stores credentials in a secure vault so agents can access protected services without exposing your secrets. Learn more

Documents

Does the AI agent have context?

Documents are what your agents read to understand your business. No more explaining everything over and over. ClankTeam's agents just get it. Learn more

Triggers

What happens, when?

Reply to every customer email as soon as it comes in? Run payroll every two weeks? Send out a project status every Monday? Triggers make sure those tasks happen automatically, without a human needed. Learn more

Approvals

Should this actually happen?

Some decisions are too important to automate. Should that email to your biggest client be sent, or does it need a special touch? Should that refund really be issued? Approvals put the most important decisions in your hands. Learn more

How ClankTeam Compares

  • Security: ClankTeam has 16 discrete security layers. OpenClaw has 3. CrewAI has 1. AutoGen relies on Docker.
  • Human-in-the-loop: ClankTeam has built-in approval gates. The others have none.
  • Multi-tenancy: Each ClankTeam org is fully isolated. The others have no tenant isolation.
  • Audit trail: ClankTeam uses a tamper-evident Merkle hash chain. The others use basic logs.
